Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a paid internship opportunity that will provide valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing.
Duties:
- Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns
- Assist to set up and upload content to social media channels for the company
- Write and publish blog posts to our website - we will give content ideas and also provide content
- Assist in the organization of data and analytics in our CRM software to ensure accuracy
- Perform some logistics administrative tasks such as requesting pickup and delivery appointments, updating appointments, check calls, other tasks as management sees fit
- Help with the planning and execution of marketing activities such as brand development and email marketing campaigns
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in marketing and eagerness to learn
- Knowledge of advertising, email marketing, performance marketing, SEO, SEM, and social media management
- Basic understanding of Wordpress and Google Analytics is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Company: Freight Hitch is an asset-based logistics company based in Sacramento, CA. Our primary focus is on refrigerated LTL (less than truckload) transportation for the Northern California and Midwest freight markets. We primarily serve customers in the packaged food (fresh and frozen), produce, beverage, ingredients, nuts, wine, and bakery industries delivering into retail, foodservice and industrial channels.
