Folsom Law Firm is looking for an experienced, part-time litigation legal secretary to support the firm’s civil and family law practice. Starting salary will depend on work experience. Please submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.
Job Summary:
Format briefs, pleadings/discovery and correspondence.
Proofreading and finalizing documents for service and filing with the courts.
Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate depositions, hearings and other case meetings for both in-person and zoom appearances.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and other parties.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Organize and maintain electronic and paper legal files.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, Adobe Acrobat, Deadlines.com and Dropbox.
Familiar and knowledgeable with state, federal and appellant court procedures.
Experience and knowledge of e-filing, e-discovery, e-service, case management and trial preparation.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills a must.
Good attitude and team player.
