We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both industrial and commercial settings.
Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
Conduct custodial duties in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to support overall building upkeep.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently.
Keep records of inventory in stock
Skills
Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques and practices.
Familiarity with custodial duties in a commercial setting.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and maintain various surfaces effectively.
Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current car insurance
Ability to work independently and manage time well
Excellent attendance and reliability are essential
Ability to pass a background check
Commercial janitorial experience is required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Must speak English
Must have legal documents
