We are looking for an experienced gardener/landscaper to maintain the grounds of our rental properties in Sacramento. This is a full-time position. Pay is $20 per hour. The job will consist of many landscaping tasks, such as: trimming bushes, watering plants, weeding, mowing lawns, planting new plants and trees, fertilizing, cleaning the grounds, and more. Applicant will need to have knowledge of plants, trees, soil conditions, and irrigation.
You will work with a great team of dedicated staff members. Once orientated, you will be mostly be working on your own, maintaining the landscaping of the properties. We are looking for someone that is capable of spotting landscaping work that needs to be done, without having to be told, what to work on. There will also be times when the apartment maintenance staff needs your help inside of the apartments. They may assign you to help them with things like cleaning, painting, and making small repairs.
Experience in the gardening/landscaping field is required. Applicant must have a valid California drivers’ license so they can drive themselves to and from the different properties. It is a plus if you own your own vehicle.
Applicant must also be able to pass a background check.
