We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide assistance and support to an individual in the Roseville, CA area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping with daily living activities, personal care, companionship, and ensuring the overall well-being of the client.
Location: Roseville, CA
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying up living spaces.
Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting 25 lbs or more as needed.
Accompany the client to appointments and errands (if applicable).
Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by family or healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred.
Ability to lift 25 lbs or more and assist with mobility needs.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if driving is required).
Ability to pass a background check.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration: In California, caregivers working for a home care agency must be registered with the Department of Social Services as a Home Care Aide. If the role requires this, you may want to mention it.
Schedule & Compensation:
Flexible shifts available (day, evening, overnight, weekends), full time or part time.
