ARF CAREGIVER NEEDED
We are not a hospital, we are a four-client, adult residential facility.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team at an adult residential facility. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing assistance, support, and personalized care to our residents. You will play a vital role in promoting their overall well-being and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
● Provide direct care and assistance to residents with their daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication administration.
● Foster a supportive and positive environment for residents, promoting independence and autonomy whenever possible.
● Monitor and document changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions, and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor
. ● Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to enhance their quality of life.
● Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary requirements and residents' preferences.
● Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, ensuring their comfort and safety.
● Communicate effectively and professionally with residents, their families, and team members.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience in caregiving in a residential or healthcare setting, is strongly preferred but not required.
● Certification in First Aid and CPR. (Can obtain upon hire)
● Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting and background check as required by state regulations.
● Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in providing care and support to vulnerable adults.
● Physical stamina to perform lifting, bending, and assisting residents with mobility.
