We are now hiring Direct ServicecProfessionals (DSP) to work with people with intellectual developmental disabilities, with a great team in a fun working environment. We are a center-based social/recreational program for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD). We are looking for RELIABLE, motivated, and enthusiastic and patient people who enjoy helping others. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, but you do need a kind heart, open mind, and a willingness to learn. In-person, on-site shifts available.
Responsibilities include direct training and supervision of (up to 3) adults with intellectual disabilities, planning and executing daily activities, assisting with ADLs in program and community settings, and accurate documentation.
Regular daily shift is M-F 6 hours/day (30 hours/week max.). No weekends, No holidays. Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Time, CalSavers
Skills / Requirements
Job Requirements: must be at least 18 years old; Must be able to clear a Live Scan and CA criminal background check. Must have current driver's license and clean driving record. Physical and TB clearance will be required upon offer of employment.
