The Placer County Library is excited to announce two openings for Librarian I positions in the Rocklin and Tahoe areas. Our Librarians have a combination of librarian duties, with an emphasis on supervision, library services outreach, and program management to enhance the user experience of the library.
Rocklin Library Position:
We are looking for a dedicated Librarian I for our Rocklin Library. In this position you will be responsible for providing Librarian services to the Rocklin Library. The eligible list from this recruitment may also be used to fill future vacancies in the Auburn/South Placer area, depending on specific requirements.
Tahoe Area Position:
We are also actively seeking applicants for the Librarian I position to serve the Tahoe Area. In this position you will be responsible for providing Librarian services to the two Placer County Libraries, the Kings Beach and Tahoe City Libraries.
Tahoe Branch Assignment Premium: Salary plus up to an additional $1,000 per month Tahoe Branch Assignment Premium for employees who are permanently assigned to a position located in the North Lake Tahoe Area.
