Summary Description

We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help lead all aspects of our

Front of House business. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, complete product inventory & weekly bar orders,

check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. Assistant General Manager

responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and

ensuring customer service goals are met. To be successful in this role, you should

be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop

and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise We'll expect you to

lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced

environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and

customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.

Ensure customer experience is achieved by leading FOH team members to follow

our service standards

Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.

Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.

Organize and supervise shifts.

Complete monthly beer & liquor inventory

place weekly beer, wine, & liquor orders to keep costs low

Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

Oversee day-to-day operations

Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.

Ensure compliance with ABC, health sanitation, and safety regulations.

Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it.

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.

Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.

Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant

events.

Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media

ads).

Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.

Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.

Always be looking for improvement opportunities

Qualifications

Proven work experience as an Assistant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or

similar role.

Knowledge of spirits, wine and beer

Able to deal with guests in a professional manner

A passion for hospitality, a love for cocktails and a positive demeanor

Teamwork abilities and team player's mentality

Attention to details, cleanliness and safety

Patience and a hospitable customer-oriented approach

Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
