We are currently seeking a dedicated and guest-oriented individual to join our Hawks Public House Support team. As a Host/Busser, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring that all responsibilities are taken care of in a proficient manner If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. (This position is hourly + Tips)
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with their inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
- Handle guest reservations and walk-ins efficiently (We use Resy)
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Host/Bussing station
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Most importantly, have a good time with peers while maintaining company standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of POS systems, such as Digital Dining, is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
