Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Sushi Chef with a background in Seafood and Sushi to join our team. The Head Sushi Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sushi bar operations, menu planning, and food preparation. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences.
Duties:
- Plan and create innovative menus that meet quality standards
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes
- Manage sushi bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and cost control measures
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong background in menu planning and food preparation
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and restrictions
- Experience in restaurant environments
- Team management experience is required
