Sr. Accountant

Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting is seeking a Senior Accountant to start a large and well-known company in Sacramento. The ideal candidate would have a background in either construction, manufacturing or oil and petroleum. The job duties would include:Oversee Accountants and other financial professionalsParticipate in budgeting processesMaintain records of financial transactions; ensure legal compliance.Develop systems for financial transactions and bookkeeping policies.Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivablePrepare trial balances and reconcile entries.Reconcile bank statements for multi entitiesPrepare and distribute financial reports to prepare for audit.Investigate and resolve accounting errors.Qualifications:BS degree in Accounting or Finance Three years of general accounting experience.General Ledger and budget Advanced working knowledge of spreadsheets This position is 100% on site and would start right away. If you feel this is the job for you, apply today!Requirements Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations Proficiency in managing General Ledger and Journal Entries Experience with Month End Close process Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software Proven experience in a similar role within the Wholesale Distribution industry Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
