This role involves aligning technology initiatives with business goals, conducting feasibility analyses, and ensuring successful project planning and execution. The Senior Manager will also serve as a project manager for critical, strategic HRIS projects, ensuring global governance for demand management and increasing user adoption of the solutions created.The HRIS team is responsible globally for Workday, ServiceNow HRSM, Visier and various time tracking and payroll infrastructure. This role requires broad experience across the HR technology landscape, service management and delivery, extensive experience with HR processes in a global business and a continuous improvement and innovation mindset. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the below responsibilities, as well as be an ideal culture fit to our Patient First company culture and team culture.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning - Align long-term roadmaps aligning to HR strategic direction and identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
Requirements Gathering - Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and document detailed business and technical requirements.
Project Scoping and Planning - Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Vendor and Technology Evaluation - Research and evaluate potential vendors and technology solutions, conduct RFP (Request for Proposal) processes and vendor selection.
Adoption and Change Management Planning - Continuously identify improvement opportunities to engage our stakeholders for feedback and adoption. Increase user adoption of HR technology solutions through effective communication and training.
Portfolio Risk Management - Develop a systemic process to identify risks and develop escalation and mitigation plans
Project Management for HRIS Projects - Serve as the project manager for critical, strategic HRIS projects, such as new Payroll systems, global onboarding process, benefits management system implementation
Ensure global governance for demand management.
People Leader for Team - Fosters a team environment that is encouraging through trust. Holds self and team accountable for delivering high quality results and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
What you’ll need (Required):
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field and 8+ years experience in HR technology or IT project management OR a Master's degree and 6+ years experience in HR technology or IT project management
3+ years in a leadership role
HRIS implementation experience
Proficiency in HR technology systems, project management tools, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
What else we look for (Preferred):
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other relevant certifications.
Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, including experience with major HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
Strong business system analyst skills, excellent documentation standards, and the ability to guide others with global standards.
Able to understand the bigger picture, including the purpose and value of HRIS to the organization.
Strong work ethic, exceptional organization, and the ability to work with agility and flexibility.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen well, speak clearly, and build strong relationships.
Ability to develop and integrate metrics into operations that clearly demonstrate the value of HRIS to the business.
Experience in vendor management and evaluations.
Knowledge and experience in Payroll systems

Time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, avoid procrastination, and balance responsibilities effectively.
