Job SummaryManages the Routing & Logistics team and partners with sites to reach efficiency goals. Validates and leads the strategic initiatives for the RL team (6+ analysts), ensuring prioritization of the work based on data (ROI). Setting the bar on communication, process, professionalism and productivity and holding the RL team accountable to meeting and setting goals – all while helping each individual to develop and grow. Acts as a business partner for DMs and Sr DMs to ensure that sites are poised to meet their targets, logistically. Works with and leverages WM Way and Dispatch to be highly influential and effective at optimizing PNW operations. Preference given to applications with experience in: WM logistics, operations, management of salaried employees and business analytics.II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partners with Managers to analyze Productivity performance, develop and implement continuous improvement plans.
Develops, manages and communicates MA, BU, Site, and LOB targets.
Partners with others (Pricing, Sales etc.) to analyze route & customer profitability, coordinating appropriate corrective actions. (includes DCO and Net Opt Projects)
Planning and Implementation of Area wide automation efforts
Reviews routing with Route Managers and/or Route Auditors, proactively flexing labor with anticipated +/-volume fluctuations.
Supports Peers in Standard Operating Procedures for data collection, routing, and dispatching processes.
Manages RLE & Ops analyst including tasks such as Route Flex, Cost opportunity files, and Area Logistics Plans(ALP) to meet efficiency reroute targets.
Works directly with local management to ensure periodic route reviews, optimizing routes, identifying routereductions with +/- volume, re-routes and communicating changes and benchmarks to Route Managers.

Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited) required.
Experience: 4 years of previous experience, including at least three years as an Industrial Engineer/Project Manager in a logistics environment and/or three years in Operations or District management or related industry required.

The expected base pay range for this position is $123,750 to $188,485. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
