Organization:SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyPosition Overview:Single point of contact for all Supply Chain functions at particular site/region and coordinates with affiliate leaders routinely to solve the organizations logistically challenges. Manages the full range of operations to include distribution, talent management, open orders, work assignments of supply chain personnel, and responsible for established budgets. Motivates staff to conduct proper receiving and unpacking of supplies, rotating of stock and checking for outdates materials and supplies as needed. Routinely assess workload and reassigns supply chain responsibilities, as needed. Establishes and fosters culture of confidence and cooperation across affiliate supervisors, managers, and directors through steady leadership, and exceptional communication. Demonstrates, leads by example and adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Prioritizes, schedules and delegates highly-specialized projects and/or articulates departmental responsibilities to visiting or new employees. Interacts with and monitors vendor performance on special orders and consignment when working with clinical leaders. Researches and institutes best practices by implementing standard workflows/processes, while developing plans of action to implement changes.
