Worksite LocationSacramento, CASchedule:6am - 2:30 pmMonday-FridayDescription:The Facilities Planner partners closely with the Maintenance and Engineering teams as well as the Corporate Facilities team in Sacramento, CA to plan and schedule predictive maintenance (PM), small to medium sized site-sponsored projects as needed, in a safe and efficient manner.In this role you will be responsible for collaborating and communicating cross-functionally with in a manufacturing setting and beyond, as well as externally to customers and vendors to ensure proper execution of daily PM’s as well as on-going and one-time project initiatives across the entire Sacramento campus.Job Functions: Ability to develop positive working relationships and communicate with all levels of the organization, including externally. Strong partnership with production planners and maintenance team will be required and some cross over work will take place between production and facilities planning. Must have the technical competence and aptitude to continually evaluate and enhance PM program and processes when necessary and based on needs such as equipment changes, upgrades, and as required by business. Professionalism and strong communication skills required for day-to-day work, as well as for frequent interaction, coordination, scheduling, and planning with outside contractors and partners.Additional Skills & Qualifications: Track utilities and report out on a monthly basis Must understand and abide by HACCP processes, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and industrial safety practices Assign and schedule preventative, emergency, corrective, and improvement work orders work requests, through a computerized maintenance platform Responsible for monitoring, assigning, tracking, and updating all work orders in a timely manner Function as a backup planner for the Maintenance team when necessary Coordinate with production schedulers, department leads, outside contractors and the maintenance teams to accommodate and arrange work performed by the department; this includes preventative maintenance, repairs, and projects ranging from the smallest to largest scales Maintain records and present reports regarding work backlog, manpower usage, schedule variances, ect. and in accordance with the maintenance team’s Key Performance Indicators Provide analytical evaluations for facilities spend for savings opportunities using SAP, Ariba and iMaintenance data Support all facilities capital project closeout process to include Fixed Asset Accounting Register, invoice closeout, and collection of all project documentation from outside contractors Maintain company fleet records for all maintenance PMs, registration, and other service related activities Track equipment asset numbers and locations to assure all assets are accounted for, and update asset tracking when new assets are introduced to the site. Attend daily production meetings, weekly master scheduling meetings, weekly weekend planning meeting, and any other meetings as required or requested by management Participate in and create any follow up work requests from events such as site audits, and quality walks Work hand in hand with both internal facilities and maintenance teams as well as third party service providers Plan, schedule and follow up on third party services; maintain records of service work provided to Blue Diamond Facilities. Obtain quotes and enter requisitions for parts and services through SAP and Ariba.Skills:mechanical equipment, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance repair, motors, preventative/corrective maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, industrial, mechanical 3 years of plant maintenance mechanic experience Skilled in fabricating items using a welder and sheet metal Experience interpreting and acting on written and verbal job instructions and reports, technical manuals, and data Knowledge of general maintenance activities and procedures including preventative maintenance procedures and best practices Experience operating company vehicles and equipment such as (e.g. forklift, man-lift, etc.) Ability to learn new equipment, etc.About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
