We currently rank #2 of all Sacramento hotels on TripAdvisor.YOUR ROLE:As a General Housekeeping Attendant - You have the unique role of working in a variety of areas, these areas include: All aspects of Laundry, Linen delivery (to housekeeping closets on designated floors and assist housekeeper's with stocking their supply carts), general sanitation and garbage/recycle disposal - This includes consistent cleaning of the hotel's public areas according to Marriott standards. You will be responding to special guest requests and front desk requests in a respectful and timely manner. Work phones will be assigned and are essential to your job. Please be aware that you will be required to become familiar with our specialized hotel app and its features! Lastly, you will be responsible for your assigned cart and pushing it around throughout the property - carts can become very heavy so keep this in mind. General Housekeeping Attendants are heavily relied on by the housekeeping team - assure you are always punctual and use effective communication. WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH OPEN AVAILABILITY.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, uniform, grooming, punctuality,attendance, and your treatment of guests and staff. You should be adaptable in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones. You must have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something. This position is labor intensive.
