The Role In your role as an Industry X.0 Capital Projects/Infrastructure Practitioner, Manager / Senior Manager within our Industry X.0 team, you’ll lead project delivery and business development in specific industry segments and help our clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital moves into the core of industry where virtual and physical converge. You’ll help our clients transform their core operations and enable them to pivot to new products & services, experiences, and business & operating models. The focus of this role will be on digital reinvention of value chains across the capital projects delivery lifecycle for multiple industries. What is cool about this Group A new area within Accenture Digital is Industry X.0, an advanced, digitally enabled, innovative, planning and investment approach for construction, manufacturing, and asset-intensive industries. In your role within our Industry X.0 team, you’ll help clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital technology moves into the core of industry for all phases of capital projects delivery. Role Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for project delivery and opportunity growth for Digital Industry X.0 within Capital Projects, focused on data centers delivery.
Anticipate client delivery requirements as 70% of time allocation and focus on business development opportunities 30% of time
Engage clients to systematically define project/program challenges, how Accenture can address those challenges, and utilization of latest technology to achieve client business objectives
Lead cross functional teams utilizing subject matter expert resources from multiple Accenture practices to provide on-time and effective delivery of value to clients.
Shape opportunities by leveraging Accenture's assets, clients, industry, growth platforms, subject matter experts and leaders. Provide Capital Projects offering sales support including working with client account teams to define pursuits, response to proposal requests, develop differentiated value propositions, shape solutions, commercial/pricing and functional requirements, and engage offering deep SME input as necessary.
Use expertise and client insight to inform and shape our assets & offerings roadmap
Actively engage in the marketplace to drive awareness of our Industry X.0 proposition with targeted clients (tradeshows, research-led thought leadership, client roadshows, hackathons, etc.).
Participate in account planning and other ongoing sales cadence initiatives
Here’s What You Need:
Minimum 6 years as Project Manager (or equivalent) for Capital Projects, Infrastructure and/or Asset Turnarounds (data center experience preferred)
Prefer 3 years of experience in business development or internally selling business cases to executives and high-level management within capital projects delivery space in industries such as Data Centers, Telecommunications, Chemicals, Energy, Utilities, and Public Infrastructure.
Minimum 3 years of experience introducing and/or integrating new technology into project delivery approaches (i.e., Digital Enterprise, Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, Digital Supply Chain, Platform Business Models, Design-led Innovation
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have minimum 6 years’ work experience).
Preferred Skills
Ideal industries experience includes data centers, utilities, and public infrastructure
Deep familiarity project delivery cycle and resources executing each phase of project delivery (i.e., owners, architecture, EPC firms, specialty contractors, and equipment/material suppliers)
Familiarity with typical roles supporting project delivery (i.e., cost and schedule controls, planning approaches in multiple project delivery phases, construction management)
Experience in selection and/or deployment of technology platforms to increase visibility, control, and connectivity of people and information across projects and programs
Proven capability to initiate and build relationships within industry
Experience developing and presenting business cases or project charter
