AIM HIGHER INC. is seeking an experienced, highly focused, and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our organization towards continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, oversee operations, and drive business development initiatives. Our organization works with adults with developmental disabilities.
The Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership, overall management, and operations of the AIM HIGHER INC. organization according to the strategic direction and policies. The Executive Director is responsible for policy implementation and effective management of AIM HIGHER INC. and all its adult development centers throughout California.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the organization with a focus on senior leadership
Ensure enrollment and ADA are maintained at the level defined in budget
(minimum 90% ADA and 90% eligible participants).
Thorough understanding of and compliance with all applicable regulations under
Title 17 & 22.
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Develop and implement strategies for business development and growth
Oversee project management activities to ensure successful outcomes
Engage in strategic planning to align organizational goals with industry trends
Negotiate partnerships and contracts to support organizational objectives
Direct operations management to achieve optimal performance
Ensures that staff are acting in compliance with CCL and DDS regulations
governing the program
Maintain current knowledge of Federal, State, and other regulations affecting the
ADA programs such as the Community Care Licensing regulations, including funding
and referral procedures
Skills:
Proven experience in senior leadership roles
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
Expertise in process improvement and business development strategies
Proficiency in project management and strategic planning
Excellent negotiation skills for establishing beneficial partnerships
Sound knowledge of operations management practices
Education and Experience:
10+ years of experience in a senior leadership position
Bachelor’s degree in human services or social work preferred
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Human Resource Management, financial management, and risk management
Five years of experience in a human services delivery system, including at least two years in a management or supervisory system.
Licenses/Certifications:
A valid California Driver’s license and proof of liability insurance preferred.
Requires possession of a current certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Requires possession of a current certificate in Standard First Aid (SFA).
Position requires current fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice.
Position requires pre-placement physical.
Position requires proof of negative TB test within the past twelve (12) months.
Job Type: Full Time (Onsite)
Salary: 80K per year + bonus
