GreeneHouse Montessori Preschool is a licensed, in-home preschool program serving 12 children, age 3-5 years. The program consists of a structured Montessori Preschool in the mornings and Afternoon Play Based Child Care.We are looking for a classroom assistant from 8:30-2:30 M, W, F and/or 12:30-5:30pm T, Th. to help guide our sweet group of children. Start date would be sometime in July, depending on candidate's availability. Position could be for one person to cover both shifts or two people- one for the M, W, F morning preschool shift and one for the T, Th afternoon daycare shift.
Experience working with preschoolers and a minimum of 12 ECE units is preferred. Montessori training/experience is a plus. An interest in learning about how a Montessori program works is required.
Ideal candidate is very reliable and will have a calm, patient and consistently kind demeanor.
CPR and first aid training, mandated reporter certificate, current on vaccines and FBI & DOJ background checks are all required by Childcare Licensing. These requirements can be met after starting work, except for background checks which must be done before starting
Hours are somewhat negotiable for the right candidate.
$22.00 per hour, paid sick days and holidays, plus 3 weeks paid vacation per year.
