Bar None Auction is looking to hire office administrator to work in their Sacramento yard office.
The hours of employment are 8:30 am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday with a once a month Saturday requirement. This job opportunity is an in-person office position and not eligible for remote work.
Job responsibilities will include:
Front counter receptionist activities
Managing inbound telephone call and providing customer service
Manage company emails, providing responses to customers, sending out invoices, and supporting documents as requested
Front counter sales for walk in customers
Cashiering invoices by accepting cash payment and managing credit card transactions
Running daily closing reports for sales invoices and credit card batch reporting
Filling of daily supporting documents
Data entry of products in to the company data base
Registering customers from email notifications into company database
Online sales transactions from a desk top computer terminal
Download documents and images and manage the data into a company cloud storage drive
Applicants must be:
Proficient with a computer for data entry and file management
Have experience and knowledge of Microsoft word products
Able to learn new software and database program quickly and efficiently
Provide friendly customer service to telephone, email and walk in customers
Ability to multi task on a daily basis and follow up on tasks without supervision
Must be a self starter neat and organized
Communicate with other employees in a positive way
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Data entry minimum 20 words per minute
- Computer proficiency (MS Office Word / Suite)
- Previous experience in office support or admin role
