Bar None Auction is hiring personnel to work in their Sacramento Auction yard.
Candidates should have extensive knowledge about a variety of construction equipment, such as: Excavator, Dozer, Backhoe, Farm Machinery, Commercial Trucks, etc. Must have experience with forklifts to unload trucks and stack 40' containers, and be able to operate equipment well enough to move around the yard safely and efficiently.
This position is an outside equipment yard opportunity. Must be able to work in extreme conditions, on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts, capable of multi tasking and following instruction.
The daily tasks will include:
- unloading trucks using a forklift
- moving equipment around in the yard
- organizing and managing intake of products on an hourly basis
- writing descriptions of product that is being delivered into the auction yard
- taking pictures of product and videos of machinery while operating the machine to show functionality
- inspecting machinery to identify functionality issues
- jump starting heavy equipment and commercial trucks using 12 and 24 volt systems
