A Portfolio of Startups is seeking an experienced sharp Business Development Manager to support our CEO. Our top candidate will be a VERY highly organized individual with a positive attitude. The candidate has the proven ability to provide excellent business growth strategies, marketing ideas follow but campaigns and admin support. We seek an individual with initiative who can effectively juggle multiple assignments, and who can proactively and independently solve problems. Mature “people skills”, strong marketing, word and excel skills. This position works and reports directly to the CEO.

WORK SCHEDULE and LOCATION:

The position is located in Sacramento, CA.

Work schedule as follows:

Regular Office hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Monday working in the City of Oakland. On the road with CEO.

Tuesday working in the City of Oakland. On the road with CEO.

Wednesday working with CEO in Sacramento.

Thursday and Friday the Business Development Manager will work from home.

PAY and BENEFITS:

This is a full-time job with a pay range of $90,000-$100,000 annual.

$400 Monthly Health Allowance

$70 Cell phone Allowance.

401K plan with 3% annually matching.

Unlimited vacation and sick time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide administrative support for all Startups as needed, including meeting and general office organization.

Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.

Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.

Researching prospective accounts or businesses in target markets.

Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.

Developing and implement new business ideas with CEO.

Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals.

Training business development staff

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 2 years in a business marketing or development role with proven track record of success.

At least 2 years’ experience in business development and outside sales and/or account management.

At least 2 years of project management experience including planning and organizing resources to achieve goals.

Proactive with exceptional attention to detail, extremely organized, and the ability to keep others organized.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to achieve goals

Strong customer service skills including personable phone, video and in-person manner with very strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to represent PowerOptions with utmost professionalism and to cultivate fruitful relationships with internal and external investors.

Highly collaborative and team-oriented

Exceptionally organized and technologically proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office
