Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Business Systems Financial Analyst in Roseville, California. The role involves working in the finance industry, where the focus is on the development and deployment of automation technologies for accounting and finance departments. The workplace offers a dynamic environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and connection.Responsibilities: Utilize and develop automated technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA) for various transactional activities, including month-end close and report processing. Understand customer needs and current processes, seeking to leverage technologies for process improvement. Collaborate with team members on design and implementation decisions, making recommendations on work assignments. Develop standard best practice processes to maintain accurate and complete financial information and reporting. Work with accounting concepts and use technology skills to complement accounting knowledge with the aim to automate. Collaborate with consumers outside of finance on automation projects as determined with leadership. Evaluate potential projects in collaboration with consumers and manager, making recommendations to leadership on project prioritization. Research, test, and collaborate with the team on emerging technology solutions in the automation space. Assist in making recommendations to leadership on technology needs and costs. Engage in the building and loading of journal entries for month-end close, uploading support to balance sheet reconciliation software, and downloading and saving various reports required on a routine basis for support or analysis. Assist in the search of accounts payable for various invoices and check for financial accuracy.Requirements Proven experience in Documentation, ensuring all processes and procedures are clearly and accurately recorded Strong ability in Reporting, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner Knowledge of financial systems and processes, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance Knowledge of invoice processing and management Experience in Oracle, ideally within a finance environment Solid understanding of Finance principles and practices Familiarity with Medical Coverage policies and procedures Strong Leadership Skills, with a focus on team development and motivation Experience in Reconciliations, particularly in a finance or accounting setting Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as required Proven track record in Implementation of new systems or processes Demonstrated experience in Automation, ideally within a finance or accounting environment Experience in managing Journal Entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles Strong Collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams A focus on Process Improvement, with a track record of identifying and implementing efficiencies Strong Research Analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data Experience in Deployments, particularly within a technology or finance setting Ability to manage Month-end Close Activities, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and timely Proven experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Solid understanding of Accounting Principles Familiarity with Vaccines, particularly in a corporate or healthcare setting Experience in managing Transactional processes and tasks Interest in and understanding of Emerging Technology, particularly as it relates to finance and accounting.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
