In this role, within the Workforce Planning & Analytics (WP&A) organization, you'll provide custom reports, strategic workforce planning, human capital analytics, and predictive modeling using machine learning mathematical models. Support the HR team on technical issues relating to HRIS technology, applications, database and reporting

Familiar with various tools and techniques to collect and analyze data and make recommendations on their findings

Develop statistical models to understand datasets

Collaborate with various cross-functional teams and deliver insights that supports the overall business objectives

Identify opportunities to optimize processes, increase efficiencies and solve business problems using data-driven solutions

Communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders

Present data-driven recommendations in a clear and concise manner that is easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences

A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

Three or more years of experience researching, analyzing, designing and maintaining HR Information Systems in support of human resource administration and projects.

The preferred

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or related field.

Experience performing in-depth analysis and developing recommendations based on modeling and workforce forecasting.

Experience with project management and/or Agile methodology.

Experience working with IT on solving reporting issue.

Knowledge of other coding languages, such as R and Python.

Experience with explaining complex data and reports to a non-technical audience.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills and the ability to analyze complex data problems and create innovative solutions.

Ability to accurately analyze information, integrate people, processes, systems and technologies, and make technical recommendations regarding project scope, impact, and implementation.

You should know

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
