- Our customer is undergoing a major initiative for the automation of the development, testing and deployment of applications.
- They are planning to deploy a CI/CD platform on-prem that will enable DevOps within their enterprise. Each of the tools will need to be installed, configured and integrated into their on-prem environment.
- Develop, build, and deploy DevOps platform including tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Nexus, Git, SonarQube, etc.
- Design and implement tool integration of the existing tools such as Remedy, Splunk, etc. within the DevOps platform.
- Analyze requirements and develop test plans for solution validation.
- Create process flow diagrams and documentation for tool usage and operations.
- Setup process standards for operations and maintenance of the capabilities deployed.
- Build Reports and dashboards to capture metrics.
- Test and validate CI/CD pipeline orchestration.
- Extensive Jira, Jenkins experience
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, etc
- Scripting experience (Python, Java, C#, C).
- Experience setting up and a pipeline with Jenkins, GitHub and Jira to integrate and build a sample Java code base.
- Experience with automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
