Work closely with Solution Delivery, you'll ensure smooth transition and quality in application operations.

Monitor and measure the performance of Managed Service Providers, ensuring timely resolution of application issues and enhancement delivery.

Engage with Operating Unit clients, you'll ensure satisfaction with IT service delivery.

Partner with other operational towers within IT (Infrastructure, Security, Service Management, etc.) and with management from other IT organization (Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture and Planning, and Delivery).

Manage Capital and O&M budget efficiently to meet long-term goals.

Perform strategic planning to allocate resources effectively and prioritize spending.

Collaborate with MSP for timely delivery of operational services within SLAs.

Drive service improvements and integration across IT operations and other service towers.

The essentials

Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.

Five years of management over organizations that have operational responsibility of multiple platform server and database environments.

Five years of technical experience in application maintenance, databases, and mainframe job scheduling environment.

The preferred

Bachelor’s Degree or higher.

ITILv3 or v4 certification.

Solid understanding of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) work process and/or application.

Experience working with multiple operating systems platforms (UNIX, Windows, Linux), databases (Oracle, SQL, DB2, Sybase), and server applications such as IIS and Websphere.

You should know

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

The primary work location for this position is Rosemead.

Position will require up to 60% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
