Position: Weekend Pharmacist (Afternoon/Night Shifts)Location: Rocklin, CAJob Type: Part-Time, Weekend Shifts (8-16 hours/week, with potential for additional shifts)Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, Afternoon/Night ShiftsResponsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications based on prescriptions and medication orders.
Review medication profiles and consult on medication therapies to ensure patient safety.
Perform medication therapy management (MTM) and provide expert advice on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication usage.
Work closely with healthcare providers and care teams to optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Ensure proper medication storage, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.
Assist with the preparation and verification of compounded medications, as needed.
Provide professional consultation and support for any medication-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
Valid California Pharmacist license in good standing.
Previous experience in a closed-door pharmacy setting preferred, but not required.
Flexibility to work weekend afternoon and night shifts.
Familiarity with pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
