Receives & routes incoming calls to appropriate stations
Pages medical center personnel
Records & processes request for telephone equipment repairs
Serves as central communications point for all in-house emergencies; i.e., Code Red & Code Blue
Responds to callers inquires following established procedures & policies
Performs various clerical duties such as maintain current reference of patients location, listing of on-call personnel & listing of beeper personnel
Announces appropriate & urgent messages as approved by supervisor over paging system
Performs other related duties, as required, such as but not limited to operate Health Phone & monitor administrative disaster system
Assume other activities & responsibilities from time to time as directed
Basic Qualifications:Experience Typing 25 wpm required All testing must be completed by the end of the posting periodEducation
