Description Position: HR Generalist with BambooHR experienceLocation: Hybrid in San Mateo (once a week on-site and when needed) We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Redwood City, California. This role will mainly focus on recruiting, onboarding, and managing HR processes. The HR Generalist will also handle employee records, run the Internship Program, and assist with HRIS integration into the background check system.Responsibilities: Manage the majority of the recruiting process, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, creating interview questions, and drafting offer letters. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including setting up schedules, assisting with equipment setup, and initiating orientation. Handle the offboarding process when necessary. Maintain and update employee records as needed. Run the Internship Program, including posting jobs, managing the interview process, onboarding/offboarding, and arranging events. Develop workflow documentation and design of systems and processes. Lead various trainings for hiring managers on best practices within the HRIS (BambooHR) Assist with HRIS (BambooHR) integration into the background check system. Utilize skills in HR Compliance, Human Resources Administration, New Employee Orientation, Onboarding, Performance Management, Personnel File Maintenance, Recruiting, Recruitment - Sourcing, and Training & Development.Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus. Proficiency in HRIS (BambooHR) Proficient in HR Compliance Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration is required Must have conducted New Employee Orientations Familiarity with Onboarding processes Proven skills in Performance Management Experience in Personnel File Maintenance Must have experience in Recruiting Proficient in Recruitment - Sourcing Experience in Training & Development is a must Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of employment laws and regulations Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Strong organizational and time management skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
