Our Pavilion combines the most advanced medical and surgical services with a unique healing environment including private spacious rooms and inviting garden areas.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:This job is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting all patient and non-patient areas of the hospital and satellite facilities under the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor and Director of Security and Environmental Services. Counting sorting and stocking of clean linen in preparation for use and maintaining prompt delivery of linen items to the hospital units. In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health the Housekeeper/Linen Service Worker applies Dignity Health Core Values to the performance of every job duty. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities seek guidance when in doubt promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.Job Description:

Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients visitors staff and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate. Screens individuals by requesting to see identification or visitor pass.

Delivers the amount of linen needed to provide an adequate level of clean linen for the Hospital on a daily basis. Performs computer entries accurately timely and on a daily basis.

Clean patient rooms includes showers tub rooms plumbing fixtures floors walls etc. Restock paper towels seat cover tissue and soap dispensers.

Stores all clean linen delivered to the hospital in a manner that will prevent contamination.

Observe and report all furniture equipment building and fixture repair needs to the supervisor.

Informs nursing when patient room checkouts are complete.

QualificationsTraining:

Completion of annual safety training. Completes and maintains required unit specific training.
