Description Notable gaming company in the Silicon Valley has an immediate opening for a Privacy Analyst! This Privacy Analyst will join the team department and report to the Privacy Manager. As a Privacy Analyst with this organization, you'll support compliance initiatives related primarily to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as other privacy regulations and requirements. This role will primarily support our data mapping efforts with major responsibilities including managing the online data mapping tool, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all mapping data, and running mapping reports. The ideal candidate will be local to the Bay Area and able to work on-site in Redwood City on a hybrid basis, however remote work will be considered for the right candidate. Privacy professionals with 1-5+ years of privacy experience in a legal capacity are encouraged to apply today!Responsibilities:

Partner with asset and processing activity owners to collect, maintain, and update information, in data maps, on assets, systems and business activities that process player and/or worker data.

Manage online data mapping tool (OneTrust) to ensure accuracy and integrity of all data entered, and run reports, as needed.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of templates, procedures, and process documentation.

Promote best practices, streamlining data processes, and increasing efficiencies.

Keep detailed reports of progress to keep manager/team members apprised of and aligned with status and timelines. Meet with manager regularly to discuss status.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1-5+ years of privacy experience in a legal capacity, such as a paralegal or analyst.

Working knowledge of GDPR or other global privacy laws is required.

Experience with data mapping (e.g., OneTrust), or other privacy compliance tools is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Ability to work independently to drive results by following up with stakeholders and escalating complexities.

Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
