Explore your future and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the full cycle talent acquisition function for both the Payload and Ground Systems Division (PGSD) and the Strategic Space Systems Divisions (SSSD). The primary function of this role is to be a strategic partner in developing and implementing the hiring strategy, with a focus on building pipelines of specialized, technical talent to support the capture and execution of large programs. This position has a preferred location in Redondo Beach CA . May consider one of the following major space locations: Baltimore MD; McLean VA; Chandler AZ; Aurora CO; Huntsville AL; or Dulles VA. May also consider a remote working scenario for this role.The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

Key roles and responsibilities include the following:
Partnering with executive leadership, Talent Acquisition and HR business partner teams to drive strategic sourcing, recruiting and hiring strategy.
Overseeing a team of leaders that will drive hiring initiatives and execution.
Building talent acquisition performance measurement system focused on operational excellence, hiring manager satisfaction and candidate experience.
Assessing talent acquisition talent; strengthening the team, as necessary – with a focus on development and engagement.
Partnering with HR and organizational effectiveness teams to develop and implement an integrated talent acquisition strategy, including internal mobility.
Implementing workforce planning in partnership with the operating programs to understand short and long-term talent needs.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources – OR – a Master's degree in HR or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources.
Five or more years supervisory experience with the ability to lead remote workers.
Proven success with partnering with executive leadership, leading change initiatives, and developing and managing talent acquisition strategies for organizations with a high-tech workforce.
Proven track record as a trusted advisor and partner to business leadership, along with demonstrated project management, analytical and process orientation skills.
Change management experience, problem-solving and time management skills.
Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects to completion.
Executive level verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
US citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in Aerospace & Defense and/or government contracting.
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
Certifications relevant to Human Resources.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Salary Range: $149,700 - $259,900The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
