Provide appropriate support for the Manhattan WMS
Interfacing with operations management and end users to provide required systems training/knowledge
Monitoring systems activities to insure that all interfaces and applications are working as required
Generating/monitoring systems reports and performance as required
Hardware, software, network trouble shooting and daily, routine maintenance
Daily support of operations and site activities in receiving, warehousing, shipping and inventory control processes
Documenting and performing test scripts to thoroughly test new enhancements and software fixes
Maintaining and changing software
Ensuring day to day operations of the WMS.
Adding or modifying config of the system based on business requirements.
Following all related change control and SOPs for the system changes.
Interacting with Manhattan support and creating, managing and escalating tickets.
Interacting with HCL and other BD resources to help solve issues.
Maintaining Radio Frequency (RF) network and equipment
Ensuring all hardware is available and working properly; this includes repeaters, antennas, voice units, RF units
Troubleshooting and fixing RF connectivity issues
Reconfiguring RF Handhelds when needed
Securing RMAs from vendors when hardware cannot be repaired on-site
Maintaining Network
Ensuring all network assets are on the network and functioning correctly
Troubleshooting any connectivity issues
Setting-up new users on a workstation once account is created
Maintaining Hardware
Performing routine maintenance tasks and installation of printers connected to the WMS
Repairing any hardware issues where possible or contact third party for repairs
General
M-F 8am - 5pm - Additional hours may be required upon necessity.
On-going training for new teammates or as SOP changes are implemented
Responding to systems alert email notifications or phone calls based on priority
Minimum Requirements
A BS degree in Computer Science or Supply Chain Engineering required
Oracle/Sql Server experience preferred
Supply Chain experience preferred
Ability to understand customer systems and related interfaces
Intermediate level of proficiency in the use of Windows and Sun operating systems
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, both wired and wireless
Working knowledge of thermal and laser printer operations and functionality
Ability to troubleshoot Printer and LAN Hardware issues
Proven ability to work with all levels of management and hourly teammates
Experience delivering training to end users at a non-technical level
Background in distribution, warehousing and inventory control a plus
Clear written and oral communication
