About Us:
We are a well-established truck driving school in Redding looking for an instructor to help us keep up with the rising demand in the trucking industry. We are not your typical truck school, as we require our students to have prior experience AND we only offer one-on-one training! Our typical student is not obtaining a license to do long haul or OTR driving, most of our clientele are city employees, linemen, firemen, construction workers, etc. We take a lot of pride in our work and wish for our instructors to reflect that same sentiment.
About The Job:
Your job as an instructor is to prepare your students for the DMV behind-the-wheel drive test by instructing them as they practice the pre-trip safety inspection, air brake tests, driving, and backing maneuvers in the same manner that is required by the DMV during a test. We place a huge emphasis on SAFETY and will rely on you to keep your student, yourself, and your vehicle safe during practice! The hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM- 4:30 PM. Some opportunity for overtime and weekends (if desired but not mandatory).
About Our Equipment:
We utilize nice, late model, M-2 Freightliners with 6 speed manual transmissions and 27'-31' flatbed trailers. It doesn't get easier than that!

The Perfect Candidate Will:
-(Preferably) Be bilingual- Spanish and English
-Have a minimum of three years of professional driving experience.
-Be personable, honest, neat in appearance, and have good hygiene habits (you'll be working in close proximity to your students every day).
-Be able to take direction, follow instructions, and self-manage time.
-Be kind, PATIENT, and want your client to be successful.
