Our Plumber & Fire Sprinkler Fitter's Helper Position Will Be:
Typical construction duties such as lifting, bending, stooping, crawling, standing for extended periods of time, walking short and long distances, digging, sweeping, raking, shoveling, moving materials in a wheelbarrow or bucket and running light duty power equipment (jackhammer, tamper, concrete saw). Assist plumbers with measuring, cutting, pipefitting, hanging pipe, grading pipe, replacing fixtures, troubleshooting plumbing problems in a residential and commercial setting. Lift up to 75 lbs. overhead.
Additional requirements: Well-spoken and capable of taking direction and relaying information to team members in a clear and concise manner. Able to make and act upon decisions. Excellent troubleshooter. Good organizational skills. Ability and willingness to work independently or with a crew of 1 or more people. Must be physically capable of performing all duties assigned. Be safety conscious performing tasks and follow all CalOSHA, CSLB and State of California regulations and requirements. Maintain a clean driving record and being insurable. Minimum of 1 year experience in the construction industry.
