Effectively and efficiently perform minor to moderately complex new construction work on fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential environments under the direct supervision of the Plumbing Supervisor, Foreman, Project Manager or Owner.
Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain valid California Driver’s License (CDL) and insurable driving record.
- Have and ability to use all tools of the trade required by a Journeyman Plumber.
- Ability to follow all code, safety and policy procedures and regulations as outlined in the job competencies and stated by Cal/OSHA, the Uniform Plumbing Code.
- Ability to follow instructions given by Foreman, Project/Assistant Project Manager and Owner, and ability to lead a Helper.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, diagrams, sketches and schematics.
- Have excellent math, written and verbal skills, strong time management skills, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle the physical workload and perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
