Construction Superintendent
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and manage on-site construction activities. This role is ideal for both seasoned superintendents and experienced foremen looking to take the next step in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Leadership: Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and specifications.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
Team & Subcontractor Management: Guide and mentor subcontractors to ensure they meet our company’s high standards for safety and quality.
Schedule & Progress Monitoring: Develop, maintain, and adjust construction schedules to meet project deadlines while maintaining workmanship quality.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets design specifications, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Identify and resolve job site challenges efficiently to keep projects on track.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and site records while effectively communicating updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Cost Control: Monitor materials, labor, and equipment usage to ensure projects remain within budget.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align on project goals and expectations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, zoning laws, and permit requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, with a preference for commercial or multifamily projects. Foremen with strong leadership skills and a desire to advance are encouraged to apply.
Education: High school diploma required; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification preferred; additional safety or trade certifications are a plus.
Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
Technical Expertise: Ability to read blueprints, interpret specifications, and understand construction methods.
Technology Proficiency: Experience with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily conducted on active construction sites.
Requires standing, walking, and movement for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary starting at $90,000, based on experience and qualifications.
