Job Title: Concrete Foreman

Reports To: Project Superintendent / Project Manager
Location: Humboldt County, CA
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise our concrete crews on commercial, industrial, and/or residential job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage crews, schedules, and quality control from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of the concrete crew.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure accurate layout and construction.
Lead the crew in forming, pouring, finishing, and curing concrete for foundations, slabs, walls, sidewalks, curbs, etc.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Monitor the quality of work and enforce compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors to meet project timelines.
Track materials, supplies, and labor hours; report progress and issues daily.
Train and mentor crew members in proper techniques and safety practices.
Identify and solve problems in the field to avoid project delays.
Requirements:
5+ years of concrete construction experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or foreman role.
Strong knowledge of concrete forming, placing, and finishing practices.
Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and site layouts.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety procedures.
Must be physically fit and able to perform hands-on work as needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with commercial and/or industrial concrete projects.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Certifications such as ACI (American Concrete Institute) or OSHA 30 are an asset.
Working Conditions:
Outdoor construction site environment; exposure to varying weather conditions.
Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends when needed.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
