Nonprofit seeks corporate level Payroll Administrator for 2 to 4 month assignment
with potential for additional length of time!
Whats it all about?
Responsible for the administration of the company’s time and attendance and payroll systems
Timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related services, including recordkeeping and reporting
Duties and responsibilities:
Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system
Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records
Compute wages and deductions
Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations
Process and issue employee paychecks and statements
Keep track of leave time
Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
Distribute and collect timecards
Issue and record adjustments
Compile statistical reports, statements, and summaries
Conduct verifications of employment.
Complete, verify, and process benefits such as 401(k) plans, and unemployment and medical insurance
Prepare, balance and reconcile period-end reports
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 30 hours per week (will discuss)
Required skills:
2 years of completing payroll for a staff of at least 20 employees
Ten key by touch
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word are required.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) or other windows based accounting/payroll software is a plus
