A small machine shop is looking to hire and willing to train an individual how to setup and operate Okamoto DX3618 surface grinder and Ded Tru grinder.
Pay: during training period 15.00phr will be paid, training period fluctuates generally based on how quick a person is able to learn. A maximum time of one month of training will be offered but not guaranteed, if you are unable to learn the operation you will NOT be hired. If the candidate learns quickly then pay will be raised from minimum to 20.00phr .
Hours: During training period, the hours will fluctuate to fit the schedule of the trainer, generally 9am to 1pm. Once an employee is capable of setting up and operating the machines then 20 hours per week is offered, hours of operation would then be 8:30 till 5pm M-F
Capabilities: Applicant must be physically capable of standing at a machine for an 8-hour shift, Dexterity, good hand and eye coordination (simultaneously working both hands together), good hearing is required to help understand each step in the grinding process, follows instructions well, fast learner, mechanically inclined, basic mathematical skills, repetitive and repetitious work at a high production rate. Quality is most important then comes production, like most jobs in production there will be a production rate that must be met.
Willingness: Submit to a drug test if requested.
I am willing to train a person who is NOT fluent in English, an understanding of English would be great.
