Custom Cabinet Shop General Laborer/Shop Workers
Established custom cabinet manufacturer located near Redding, CA, has multiple full-time positions available for General Laborer/Shop Workers. We supply premium casework, cabinetry and counter tops for commercial projects like schools, medical facilities, and retail establishments, as well as for custom homes. We are a family owned and operated company established in 1986. Pay TBD by work experience and history. Core hours are from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Benefits include 401K with company match, some paid holidays and medical, and performance-based bonuses.
The General Laborer/Shop Workers will benefit from having cabinet building experience, but it is not required. Any wood working ability in related fields is a plus. If you can follow directions, read a tape measure, are willing to learn how we operate in our shop, and have a can-do attitude, we may be willing to train you. You will be cutting, assembling, sanding, and moving cabinets, drawers, doors and other casework. Those that excel in their positions may be awarded or promoted accordingly.
Job Requirements:
Must be teachable and have good communication skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Basic hand tool knowledge needed (all tools provided)
Work in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality workmanship
Need a valid Driver's License or reliable transportation
Be punctual and maintain assigned work schedules
Must be in good physical condition and able to lift/move 50 lbs.
Keep work areas organized and clean
Reliability, honesty and integrity are a must
Be hard working, motivated and be a team player
