Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a role for a meticulous and dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper in Redding, California. This role is crucial for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This position involves working within the healthcare industry in an in-person setting.Responsibilities: Preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including operational and financial analysis. Overseeing all accounting and finance processes, procedures, and ensuring an effective internal control environment is maintained. Managing cash within the operating units and distributions to the owner. Providing necessary information to outside accountant for preparation of income tax returns. Overall responsibility for payroll, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, business insurance, monthly billings of county clients and reconciliation of accounts, collections of receivables, county contracts, bank relationships, and prepares monthly census data reports. Utilizing accounting software systems like QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suites for various accounting functions. Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) and ensuring timely month end close. Preparing bank reconciliations and financial statements. Occasionally interacting and meeting with company owner. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites necessary Experience with Microsoft Outlook desirable Must be able to handle all Accounting Functions Experience with handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is critical Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations is required Experience with Month End Close procedures is advantageous Ability to prepare Financial Statements is mandatory Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
