Northcoast Children's Services is hiring for a Child Development Director at our Arcata Main Office in Humboldt County. As a member of the NCS Management Team, provide leadership, guidance, and direction in achieving the values, mission and strategic long-term and short-term goals and objectives of Northcoast Childrens Services and its Head Start/Early Head Start programs. Provide pro-active guidance and problem resolution activities in establishing and maintaining a positive and supportive working environment for staff, and effective and responsive programming for children and their families. Monitor progress and compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, State Funding Terms and Conditions, Community Care Licensing Regulations, Title 22 and Title 5, and NCS policies. BA or BS Degree or Higher in Child Development or related field and four years experience in children and family services. Experience must include at least three years of supervisory experience. Full-time Exempt $1087.34-$1200.21/wk. Position is Open until Filled.
