Description We are in search of a Tax Manager - Public to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Your primary role will involve managing multiple projects and client engagements concurrently, coordinating engagement workflow, and building relationships with clients. You will also have a hand in staff development and training, as well as participating in business development activities.Responsibilities: Efficiently process complex client correspondence, including recommendations and technical issues Keep up-to-date with recent tax developments and communicate their implications to clients and their businesses Develop expertise in one or more specialized industry areas, with a focus on Individuals, Partnerships, and Limited Liability entities Manage expectations and meet deliverable deadlines for an assigned group of clients Conduct research on complex tax issues or direct such research activities of other staff Represent the firm before taxing agencies Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business, beyond just the tax-related aspects Motivate and train staff, fostering detail-oriented growth and enthusiasm Identify opportunities to provide additional services and show initiative in pursuing such opportunities Collaborate with managers and partners on both team and client issues, using your skills in CCH ProSystem fx - Tax Compliance, Complex Tax Return, Consolidated Tax Return, Income Tax Return, Individual Tax Return, and Corporate Tax Return. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in CCH ProSystem fx for Tax Compliance and Tax Planning Extensive experience with Complex Tax Return Familiarity with Consolidated Tax Return procedures Ability to prepare and review Income Tax Returns Experience in handling Individual Tax Returns Knowledge and experience in Corporate Tax Return Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required CPA certification is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel Familiarity with tax software and reporting systems Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
