Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerJob Description

Engineer projects from the proposal phase all the way through qualification. - Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements and related specifications. - Perform necessary calculations to show performance of equipment to specifications. - Work with engineering staff and prepare all necessary documents for the project including schedules, designs, drawings, and required reports. - Conduct analytical studies on engineering proposals and existing designs for hydraulic products.

Hard Skills

Knowledge of general design and drafting of mechanical equipment

Prefer knowledge of aerospace equipment, especially hydraulic components or systems

Ability to perform basic calculations such as weight, stress, and spring design

Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment

Strong PC skills

Knowledge of SolidWorks

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace

7+ Years SolidWorks Design

Experience in hydraulic components

Soft Skills

Above average oral and written communication skills
