Description We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Generalist to join a team at a thriving Behavioral Health company. As a key member of our clients HR department, the HR Generalist will play a vital role in modernizing our HR processes, overseeing employee relations, managing onboarding and offboarding procedures, and providing comprehensive HR support to our team of 300 employees. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong HR background to contribute to the success and growth of our organization.Your responsibilities

Evaluate employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)

-Working on digitizing all employee files into the system

Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department

Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters

Draft templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook

Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite

Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employee

Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews

Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections

Engage with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors

Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations

Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees

Differentiate local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures

Requirements

Strong understanding local, state and federal laws

Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis

Excellent written and verbal business skills

Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

Are you highly professional? Are you able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity?

Prior HR Generalist experience

Digitizing all employee files in their system

Skilled in technology applications and software, as well as social media platforms

Prior experience coordinating and implementing Open Enrollment is a plus
