Accounting Manager

Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations. Reporting directly to the President, you will oversee a small accounting team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making to drive our continued growth. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, optimizing financial processes, and contributing to the overall success of our business.Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close processes. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to provide insights for management. Ensure compliance with GAAP, franchise reporting requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls; coordinate with external tax advisors as needed. Supervise and mentor a team of accounting staff, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance. Oversee cash flow management, inventory accounting (specific to our custom products), and cost analysis to support operational efficiency. Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and manufacturing, to align financial strategies with business goals. Handle financial planning for expansions, investments, or franchise-specific initiatives. Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements. What We Offer Competitive salary range; $80,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, sick pay, paid holidays and employee discounts on our products. Opportunities for professional growth in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.  .
