In this job, you’ll lead external/internal engagement strategy and policy related items for Ready Grid, including tracking customer escalations, developing timely recommendations for resolution and proactively educating customers, local jurisdictions, and industry groups. Supports the development of critical regulatory and legislative initiatives to facilitate the execution of the strategic plan

Identifies system risks and evaluates risk reduction benefits of proposed mitigation strategy projects in the capital investment strategy

Leads the development and management of Protection and Control Asset strategies for programmatic investment decisions

Evaluates SCE's enterprise level risks and provides suitable mitigation options to senior management

Provides strategic and regulatory analysis for the company, specifically including competitive positioning, price forecasting, financial analytics, and regulatory planning scenario evaluations

Provides analyses, evaluation and management recommendations on key strategic initiatives

A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

Ten or more years of experience in strategic planning, setting strategies at the department or organization level.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in tracking and resolving customer escalations effectively with a focus on delivering high quality customer service

Experience developing and leading implementations of both internal and external engagement strategies that align with organizational goals and drive stakeholder engagement

Experience crafting and delivering communications that convey complex/technical information to diverse audiences

Five or more years experience in the utility industry

Degree is Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related field

Additional Information

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
