Position exists with Pt. Mugu Mission Data/Information Engineering Division, EW Component Engineering Branch (code E536400) to support a combination of Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) IPT Mission Data and EW Planning Systems development. The incumbent will analyze capability needs and develop system requirements, use cases, architecture and software components to support EW mission planning and mission data needs in support of multiple product teams. Aircraft supported include the EA-18G, MH-60R, E-2C/D, and FA-18E/F. This lead engineer will work and integrate across teams to develop enterprise architectural solutions. Deliverable products include mission data, EW planning, execution rehearsal, and assessment functions in order to effectively support Electronic Warfare missions.The incumbent with work closely with the AEA Chief Mission Planning Technologist and several EW Mission Data/Planning software teams to make critical architectural decisions, assist in mission data analysis algorithm development, and provide insights into incorporating cutting edge technologies related to Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and Data Science. The incumbent will adhere to IPT and/or MAO development processes to document relevant work products as needed.Knowledge and Experience:Required:- Enterprise Architecture or experience with enterprise software development- 10+ years’ with Software development in .NET with C#/ASP, JAVA, or Webstack development such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Hibernate, Wildfly- Databases such as SQLServer/Oracle or MySQL/NoSQL- Service Oriented Architecture/Web Services/Microservices- Process such as Waterfall or Agile with experience in corresponding process toolsets- Excellent Communication Skills The following experiences/knowledge would be a plus:- Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Python development- Electronic Warfare Concepts
